Mr.R wroteHi Milihaff,
I'd think that 125rwbhp would be easily obtainable from a 984 motor burning dope/ethanol.
Using Strada cams, 35/30mm valves and a full 50mm exhaust system a petrol burning 984 should make around 125rwbhp.
I'd be very suprised/disappointed if it didn't.
My question is why burn Ethanol, when a petrol motor makes good power without running too hot?????
I can understand why aircooled Speedway, Longtrack motors run on dope, but a Desmoquatro motor?

Gidday!
besides from being enviroment friendely you can rise the compression ratio to at least 14:1.
The plan is:
J&E forged pistons 96mm (I have allready bought them on sale from the swedish importer).
900 SS crankshaft. 31/37mm valves and and some nice canshafts.
I have the crankshaft (nos) and a throttle body kit from 996 (double injektors).
I allready have the full 50mm exhaust system.
Every thing less than 130 rwhp would make me dissapointed....
There is a lot of work to do and a lots of parts to be bought though. Its not the only bike in the sheed thats needs attention. The head and barrel job wount be sheap as well as carillo rods and crank balancing.
