"Le Vigeant" circuit is a great place for bikes, good asphalt, very interesting curves with and without strong brakings, long straight line alongside the paddock ... Moreover, the parking place is very wide !!!
I'm quite sure you'll enjoy if the wheather conditions are dry !!!

I was there a while back and plan to be back in 2012 for the annual Italian bikes meeting, called "Trofeo Rosso" ...

It was good!

It's some weeks ago now but it has been very hectic trying to make up for the time off..

The track was good, what was surprising was how friendly it was to the tyres. When putting the knee down the asphalt felt like a mat. Nothing wrong with he grip, but a soft strange feeling. The reduced tyre consumption really saves money.

I did my best but I did not reach Darkmonsters times on the track. Even the silly sideburns cultivated for this occasion did not make me come all the way there. I reached 1,58 on the Duc and 1,55 on the Kwak. Darkmonsters 1,54 with the Duc is quite impressing. Maybe next time if the sideburns grow better until then?

You could try stick on sideburns (also known as "Bugger grips") for that vintage Ron Haslam or the upto date Guy Martin look...😁

Two years back at the IOM TT there were lots of Guy's fans wearing stick on's and carry large Tea mugs.

Cultivating them natural is a real effort. You certainly look silly for weeks. Business meetings have to be cancelled etc. But when you finally come to the track you have the pleasure of knowing you have done absolutely all the preparations you can.

The stick on's are synthetic and definitely listed, it would be cheating. I did not expect you to suggest them.

It's impossible that the bike gives you 5 seconds, my guess is that you are having sideburns under the helmet.
Actually I could not resist getting a modern bike as a complement myself... Full spec BSB Kwak with everything. The differences in lap times comparing to the duc is embarrasing small why my conclusion must be that I am not good enough to make it justice. But all that power is fun!

I personally wouldn't use them, having NO problem growing faicial hair...
My problem is keeping the F'kin stuff at bay!!!😉
It doesn't ake me very long to grow a beard not unlike the one that Karl Marxs wears on his tomb.

It is a difficult weapon.
It needs much development that i can not perform as i want.
The engine can only be used from 8000 to 11000, before there is nothing, just have a look to the power of mine in blue 🙁

I (try) drive my bike as i can, but it is very difficult to go very fast, it is very tiring.
The front fork is a shit for race use. But nothnig is available for it (neither ohlins or Marzocchi).
And mine did not have any oil in the right fork 😡 . Italians are italians...
The shock absorber Sachs was the same and I have changed it by a ohlins.
But i like it 😎

Thank you Henrick, but 15 riders have more sideburns under the helmet than me, because i fnished two times at the 16th place 😉 🙁
