FYE. I'm building up a SS engine (944 kit, etc.) for a friends Bimota DB3, just got .005" copper base gaskets to set the squish from Cometic. Fast and cheap (about ten bucks each).
Cometic.com They also have head gaskets in different thicknesses for the 4V.
