A friend of mine called round and I took his son out for a spin.😄

I think his son is now hooked, as he said as soon as he got in he was looking at bikes on the web.

I have to say I'm so glad I've a 851. 😁

I think you'd best tell your mate's lad to start saving now...who knows how much these bikes will cost in another decade!

As to saving up I only paid £3,300 for my 851 so in ten years when we can't afford to buy the fuel to put in it I shouldn't have lost too much,😄

last year my (9 at that time) son drove the 250km long 11 city tour in the Netherlands (Friesland)
He'd got a lot of positive reactions from the other bikers and public down the road.

my daughter is only allowed to sit in the 888 in the garage, but then again, she came by 888 😉

Great pictures, it still scares me when I take my children out with me.
The trouble is they love it ,pity there are no grab bars on my 851 for them to hold on to.
Any solutions to that welcome.

I believe that the 888 biposta (rear seat unit and frame) had a couple of handles that swung out under the bumpad so that you could hold on.

These passenger handle belts have been around for a while, but have no experience with them.

They do have them. Very smart idea and useful out for passengers to grab or to attach straps for luggage on the back seat!

It will all fit over onto your bike, the only thing is that you will have the later looking seat unit styling, exposing the footrest mounting area of the frame.

just a remark regarding the love handles. My son is able to get his hands all around me 😉
With this I can really feel if he's holding on, and how good. So it gives me more feedback.
A friend of me had the love handels, but didn't get the feedback from the duo.

On the other hand. When driving with him, I'm taking it easy.

BTW, did you see the picture on the 'love handle' website?
Let's first start with good protection clothes for the duo 😉
