Don't worry Marvin, I won't hold you to your generous offer. Just please don't compare them to rim stripes. There is nothing tacky about them, they are only cool. But, you need to be a card carrying Pantah person to truly appreciate them, and have peaked out by the '80's as I did. Last summer I broke down and bought the last set that Loudbike Steve had (by exchanging some rather serious money) for my TT, but came home from Barber with the r/h one having acquired some serious race patina. It's still useable though. I'd been wanting a set for the '88 Adamo bike, and while they were on my mind I emailed Ian Gowanloch, and damned if he didn't have a pair. So, I believe I'm all set. Besides, the color has to be exactly right, AND be plastic. Anodized aluminum just won't do. I appreciate your attempt at trying to like them.
