Hi All

Thought it was about time to post a few pics of my 1994 Corse 926 Racing nearly at the panel stage so a few pics before the bobywork goes on.

Can I just say a big thank you to the fellow forum members who have helped me over the last year or so to get the bike to this stage, you know who you all are!!! cheers guys.

Yes Iam sure at sometime I will run her on the black stuff, If I can run this beast as I did yesterday and loved it!!! with an on/off clutch very little front brake to speak of and of course the reverse right hand gear change then the 926 will be a doddle!.

After all Guys its a V-Twin.

Is that the next project that requires some 'black gold' parts...a hugger perhaps a fully enclosed fairing??? 😁 I'm glad that the weather has improved for you, 'Nessie' must have been getting cold...poor old thing! What's next for pulling apart?

Does it run hot enough without a thermostat? I tried mine without, and it wouldn't get above 60 °C here in Malaysia.

Pace products UK made the radiator from original Corse/SPS item, I needed to supply the original which is slightly out of shape as they do not keep details on file.
The only difference is the depth, its 10mm more, apart from that it is perfect and the quality is spot on.

At last carbon panels going to the painters next week so hopefully complete within a month will post the finnished bike soon.

At the painters as we speak they have worked there magic triming, heating and bending the carbon to get a near perfect fit.

With a bit of luck complete in 2 weeks time will of course post pictures.

These carbon panels where manufactured in Italy I got them through a UK dealer www.protwins.co.uk took a little while to get then but well worth the wait, quality and finnish very good.

I believe our resident carbon god may well be working on such panels maybe worth contacting oronero also.

Yes you would have thought so but as with most Italian reproductions you need a bit of tweeking did you get sorted re your exhaust quest?

I have a set of genuine corse fairings, they were also tweeked by the previous owner.

It's a bit of a conundrum when making parts...do I copy the original parts that were not necessarily a good fit or tweak them prior to making moulds so that they fit from the start.

I have been advised that they should be as they were supplied...warts and all!

If yes I will be interested 😁
In case my 888 will be an apparentness next week on the track I will discard my original fairing😄 😄 .
