A great pit-stop in Inverness, Scotland.

I popped up to see Scott888 and have not long got back home...he took me to the best cafe ever!

Much better than the 'Ace Cafe', nr Wembley and the northern version 'Squires' between Castleford and York. This is despite 'Squires' having an SP5 in a glass cabinet, so my statement should not be taken lightly! 😯

The establishment is called 'Charlies Cafe' and from my recollection is near the train and bus station in Inverness. The coffe was good as well as the 'Genoa' cake but here goes....

Just had a mate from the UKMOC phone me up to tell me about this place, seems like all the bikes are still there. Never ridden or started. 🙁

Wow, must see that. I am doing the Bike Mag figure of 8 run northern section over a week in April. I had planned to stay one night in Inverness so that is definitely a must see.

Wow me too!
This is my dream to have a roadside cafe with a bike theme, with my bikes displayed all around, even my wife has agreed this is what we should do. So we now have put our home up for sale and aim to find a good road, with a site suitable for such a venture, somewhere between Cumbria & South West Scotland.
Anyhow how about a ride out/meeting to same place, if any one knows proprietor would it be worth a mention see what they thought.
