i own a beatifull ducati 851 s3 from 1993.

my passion comes from back and i also own a 996 and a superlight mk1

is there any 851 from 93 year, because i trying to find one.

i know that my bike doesn´t have the original decals, thats why i ask these questions.

I didn't know that there was a 93' 851. Are you sure it isn't just a hold over 92'and sold in 93'?

I believe they introduced the new shape fairings in 93 and the 888 engine but still called it an 851 for a while... I have a 93 888 with gold frame etc and a 93 851 with white frame but has the same fairings as the newer model and an 888 engine.

Not in the US. In the US the 92' 851 had the new fairings/tank, curved radiator, but a Showa shock, white frame,black wheels, white/sliver/black decals, still an 851. 888 didn't arrive here until 93', SPO., gold frame, mono tail, different decals,.

life would be so much better if the new year was the start of summer... new year, new models all at the same time. Maybe along side the Julian calender we should start the bikers calender concurrent with the April tax year for UK? 😄 😄

It doesn't look the same as 888 to me, it looks just like my 92' 851,,,white with silver/black striping around it. 888 is silver I believe.
