brad black wrotewhy does it have caliper mount spacers? are the discs bigger than the tri's 280mm?
did they have a taller screen or raised front fairing? it looks different to a std one.
when were the lucchinelli's released? were thery released early in 88 as a customer race bike or late in 88? given the 89 was a quite different bike i would have thought they'd be obselete by 89.
looks very cool. is it unused?

Bigger discs 300mm,mount spacers due to off set and bigger disc I suppose.
Screen is bigger, very similar if not the same body kit 888 SP2 or 851Kit.
Released in 1989 and very much developed on the superbike kit model.
First 888cc production race bike we reckon 20 of these produced and only 17 remaining unless someone else can confirm or knows otherwise.
Anyone elso on this forum apart from the usual suspects have one?
