Just home from Francorchamps. With 20min to go we were 7th, but just before Blanchimont the engine seized. Ivan pushed the bike all the way to the pit finishing 26th! 🙁

Well, We've stripped part of the engine yesterday. Turns out the woodruff key that hold the little timing gear to it's shaft broke!!! A piece of one euro killed our effort! Dave says in all his years as a proffesional Ducati mechanic he never seen this! A couple of valves are bent but the pistons and cylinders are not damaged!
We are thinking of doing the 4H classic race during the Oschersleben Speedweek, and Chimay in a couple of weeks time but the 200 miles of Imola is our last main goal of this year!
