Here we have a collection of footpegs and still the right ones have not arrived but they are on order😁

The carbon backed units have factory corse levers with the gear lever milled out, could be earlier than 851 even.

And the "specials" are just like the race gearshift pegs but with the brake side needing a 916 approach, possibly late 926 race?

And finally a nice pair kindly donated from a member far away that do fit my spare frame but will I build another? ...But I think Henrik needs perhaps

Two sets with original link pipes, one good to use on the track and the other needs rebuild (i have all the bits) + my best set....but with shortened link pipes .... hmmmmm shall I make them 50mm longer again

The sets in the lower center (aluminum colored) look like Pro Italia's to me. I have a set that look identical for my 900SS.

p.s. Here's a link to the seller that I got mine from. I don't know if he has any more or not. Even if he did I don't think they are the same as for the later 851/888.

It looks like the levers on the sets you are talking about are on the wrong brackets. Brake lever is on clutch bracket and clutch lever is on brake bracket.

Got those as a freebie from a guy with a 900SS so most likely. Just didn't like the ergos and didn't feel like altering them. Decided Guy needed more for his fetish so off they went.

Here are the ones I finally got from Gifrap yesterday. They'll go on when I'm done with the exhaust mods.

Might have to get them anodized if they look too flashy when mounted.

Let you in on a secret. Its warm humid and overcast with rain. Not really beach weather. And just to top it off this weather gets the jelly fish all excited and they come into shore. But its a nice dream anyway.
I'm just amazed that they made a beach towel. The only 851/888 thing other than a bike that I have is one of those little flashing badges, and it still flashes.😁 I'm just not hard core enough I guess.

Not that bothered about the foopegs are we kids?

My lad spotted one at a local market a couple of years ago and snapped it up. I went a couple of weeks later and scored two more.

They had a few different models of bikes there and I suspect the 851 towel will not be that popular with only 3 bikes in a 50 mile radius.

I will pop down next time its on and see if there are any more.

They were a tenner each and sadly they are made of that very tough towel stuff that strangely has no ability to absorb water at all.

Sorry Guy. I have a nice set of DP ones for early frames, yet to fit them.

Perfect towel for you guys then. No beaches to speak of, and fits right in with the general perception of British personal hygiene standards, and nobody has raised a sweat grafting there for years.😁 😁 Why would a British towel need to soak up water?😏

Indeed Griff and with such comments I would happily to agree to find one for you, take your money and cut a hole in it before sending.

So at least then while you are working your arse off tending the barbie every day of the week you can sit on the towel and have your bum on the nice warm sand and not insulated by the towel.

Hi lads,

I've got one of those towels (it was a Xmas gift from my Mother in law) whilst it doesn't soak up the water as good as a top quality towel, it does do the job that it was intended for, it needed a good wash to get the dressing out of it 1st though.
Nessie found it on E-bay a few years ago.
