here is a pic of my 851, she has done 45,000kms. Race pipes and aftermarket rear set, off a monster (supplier from the UK). More kms = more fun!

Welcome Dyana851,
1st thought....Fcuk me that's going to be loud!
2nd thought...I like the understated paint job, less is more!
3rd thought...You must be very short, those foot pegs look very high to me!
jlduck,
They look like Verlicchi mega's to me, I have a set here in my workshop and they're F**KING LOUD!!!!
To be honest I think they only suit the earlier 851's, the later bikes look so much better with the Carbon or Alloy Termi' lookalikes IMHO.

Yes, they are Verlicchi Race pipes and they are LOUD! You're also right about the rear sets, they are too high even for a short person like me. I thought about the hi rise termis but when I heard these babies it changed my mind. I have a set of termis but they are looking tired and have 2 sets of the race pipes, they were just collecting dust so I thought why not use them.

Dyana, congratulation for the cure you pay to your baby. In particular I like the tail job you have done. I could immagine the loud and terrificant sound coming from cans, which look to be those fitted on earlier 1988 / 851 strada & 851 Kit. From a stylistic point of view I would have seen fitted, a different type of cans, just because your bike is 4 years younger and also because you have changed the original seat with the 1993/888 ones. Maybe a couple of Aluminium Ducati original pieces or Termignoni carbon exausts, they would make your 'baby' more cool ! But this is just my point of view. Anyhow the bike is very nice.
Ciao!!!

hi dyana. that's a great bike you have there. I've noticed that the rear brake hose is passing outside your subframe. Isn't that dangerous? I'd rather put it inside the frame for safety purposes.
