Phil911 IMHO, here's an interesting link from Kaëmna catalog, regarding Racing exhausts. Moreover, it seems that the racing outlets with top support are individually available . The main question is the external diameter of the carbon part coz Termignoni and SilMotor are different ... On the pic, the curvy outlet looks like Termi part ... Phil911
henk ask desmo57 about this i think he did it the other way around,i think he used termigioni end caps on a SIL moto systeme. but it is interisting for sure as i can use some new end caps. henk!!!
firefly_1965 Hello Guys, I'm now importing Sil Moto exhausts into the UK, as well as another Italian make called Quat D, both beautifully made and of very high quality indeed. Yes, you are correct, the racing end caps (Sil Moto refer to them as the Roche end caps) and various other styles are available, but i am not sure of the external diameter as i have not yet ordered any of these, only the standard end caps. If you like, i can check for you on Thursday as i am away for a few days. I didnt want to mention on the Forum the fact that i am now distributor for Sil Moto for fear of being accused of promoting my business on the forum for commercial gains, but Sil have been manufacturing exhausts for Ducati since the 70's when they were known as Silentium. I am also let to believe that Termignoni outsourced alot of their work to Sil, and the quality of Sils workmanship was miles better, as the set of pipes for my SP3 will testify. If you need any pictures or any have any other questions as away and i will speak to my contact at the factory. Inda
firefly_1965 For all of you who have pm'd me about the exact measurements and ease of fitting, i have attached a few pictures. It took me approx 20 minutes to fit them and they bolted straight onto the standard bracket, just mild adjustment. They sound good and are beautifully made. Regards
desmo57 Silmoto stopped the production of the 888 exhaustsystems. But I've bought one of the last sets of RRR endcaps (the others are gone to) from the German importer. 😁 They have the same dimensions as the original Termignoni's!
Nux I also received this week a set of these. Nothing like the termi's, but very nice made. I guess the dealer has some more...
