What's it worth?

Hello all...
I am a potential new member, because I am looking at a 851 Tricolore Kit I may purchase. Would the experts out there give me an idea of what I should be paying? I have an idea, but the rarity of these particular Ducati's makes estimations difficult. It is a true Kit, I have seen the actual Ducati paperwork specifiying who the bike was issued to. It is in excellent, all original condition, has been sitting in the home of an ex-racer for years as he originally campaigned a racing Tricolore kit but was also "given" a second Kit bike which he kept but never rode. Any input much apprciated.

No expert here but the one in the link above was brand new just out of the crate and sold for $30,000US.
With low miles you would say mid 20's.When it's all said and done though you have to find the right person who wants to buy this model if you are selling one as you can buy a new one for less than that and have change,but that looks like you are the right person who wants it.Mind you i suppose if it is brand new it depends if you are going to ride it or store it thinking it might double in value in years to come.Would be a bit of a descision to ride a brand new 19 year old bike.

I have 2 tri colour kits although I am here in Australia , I ran both my bikes on ebay one made $35,300 and the other 31,900 although I did have the reserve set at what I thought they were worth.

one of the high bidders was from the UK the other an Australian bidder both of my bikes are 100% concours and correct in everyway.

I think a tri colore is worth what yu are willing to pay for one , they are a true collectable machine and although not the best ducati ever made they are very addictive machine
