Campy wroteYou don't think the windscreen is original? I thought it was. It does have a couple stress cracks and I have been looking for a new one. If anyone can provide me with a photo of the OEM screen, that would be helpful. I have the part number, but it is not available any longer. I have found other similar parts but he bolt hole pattern is different (e.g., the 900SS screen is similar but has only 5 holes, not the 7 for my upper fairing attachment. Thanks all!
Hi Campy,
Like Jason I've also got a '91 bike (it's my spare parts donar, later to be put back to near standard and sold on) it's got it's original screen complete with the Cagiva elephant logos and it doesn't look as tall/high as the one in your pictures.
Here's a pic' of my donar bike...

It's been JHP chipped, fitted with SP(4)S pistons/barrels, 748 heads, (I also have the original heads that were sorted by John Hackett at JHP's and the OEM barrels and pistons) full QB carbon Corse fairing, (the mould being taken from Carl Foggerty's works bike) has an AP Lockheed adjustable ratio front brake M/Cylinder, Earls/Goodridge brake lines and has a pair of F1 Thunderball carbon 50mm cans.
It runs as sweet as a nut and is fairly quick, it easily sees off 916's/early Fireblades.
I paid ยฃ2,300 for it and the former owner took a close to 600 mile round trip to deliver it, along with a few boxes full of useable 4V Ducati spares inc' 99% of a 748 motor and the OEM heads to my home.
He was retiring from biking and was fed up with dragging all of this kit around behind him, whilst looking for a place to finally settle for good.
I'd helped him sell his 916SPS and had sorted his bikes for many years, he was the 'Best Man' at my wedding to Nessie.
Did I get stung?? ๐
Steve R... I've said it before I've always been 'Lucky all my Life'...
P.S. I've still got the OEM screen, I've also got a '92 OEM screen complete with all of the original decals/stickers both could be sold for the right money.
