Yesterday during the luncheon break for the Barry Sheene Memorial Speed Weekend for the Post Classic racing, we were invited to do a lap of the full circuit at Eastern Creek ( just west of Sydney).
As there were about 30 bikes I decided to hang back along with a Canadian visitor who had brought his 900 over from the UK.
As the vintage 7R AJs and Manx Nortons powered off into the sunset we doodled along till we had an almost empty run through the back twisties and a blast down the main straight.
I kept it in 4th just for the music from the Termis bouncing back from the grandstand, and was too busy setting up for turn 1 to see what the speedo was showing.
I can see the attraction of track days..........................maybe next time?
