marvin I got my triples anodized and mounted yesterday, waiting for Rick to finish my forks. I also got my rear brake on the bike.
Phil911 Marvin, What a beauty !!! This master piece is something I'm highly envious ... Why don't you consider to build some extra triples for sale ??? I'm convinced that few of us would be interested ... Phil911 ... first on your list, to fit my OHLINS FG.9051 !!! 😄
griff851 They turned out rather nicely. How thick is the top deck, and how much does the top one weigh? I like the 3 bolt serious clamp look, but why three not 2? Griff
marvin Hi Griff, The top deck is approx 5mm's. They aren't all that lite. I could have whittled away some more material but got tired of working on them. I could have cut all the way through the top triple but like the look of a solid top. Three screws because I altered my design after seeing MarkT's SP2. I originally copied his mag triples then found out that they foul the OEM clipons (mark had to modify his to fit properly) so I changed the angle of the top and there was marginal space for two large screws so I went to three smaller.
AJV As soon as I can borrow some Corse yokes, I will be asking the machine shop that made the ohlins preload adjusters for a price to copy. I've wanted genuine Corsa yokes for ages but given the fun i've had with the adjuster copies, i'm now prepared to compromise providing the copies are equal or better in quality to the originals and cheaper! I'll update those of you that may be interested in a 'custom' set under a specific posting. Nice job by the way, Marvin
