Unbelievably light......fast and so smooth. It's got the original size 926 factory motor that GiaCaMoto went over. They trimmed, drilled and polished everything inside. When Bruce Myers saw it he said he'd never seen one like it, but heard GioCaMoto did some really nice work. I really wish I had taken pics when we had it apart to reshim the crank...... damn.
In 93 I think Falappa got the 926 for WSBK. Then Ferracci bought it from the factory for Corser (with the FBF 955 AMA engine) to ride and win the 94 AMA championsip here in the states.
Eraldo had it down to the AMA limit (325 lbs w/full tank of gas), so the 136 rwhp fells like 160+. Back when the 998R was being campaigned, Polen said he wanted his 888 FBF Corsa with 998R motor because the 888 was so light.
