bulldog955 wroteGreat turnout and I was the only 888, yea! 😁
Had a great time and had a ton of interest in the 888, I think people are really interested in the older Ducati's and finally appreciating them for what they are.
Older Ducati's??
I call my tuned '91 851/888 and '92 851/916 my 'modern' Ducati's! 😯
Still my other Dukes are a '74 'Yellow' 250 Desmo and a '79 900SS(owned from new!) based special, without a doubt the LOUDEST bike in Cornwall/Kernow!
I'm sure you can imagine the interest that these attract at bike meets when I thunder in wearing my original '53 TT Low crown pudding basin lid (Red with 'John Cooper' mooneyes) and a pair of genuine WW2 Spitfire pilot goggles.
Mrs R who often follows along with the little un's in the car, turns up and asks "Where's the crazy frog camped?"
They always know which corner of the field/car park I'm in. 😉
