Hi all,
Hope you can shed some light on a tri colore, I am currently looking at couple of tri colore stradas and was wondering if any one could help me by advising the material the fairings are made of? one of the bikes I have viewed appeared to have plastic/abs side panels but the front and rear cowls appear to be possibly carbon/fibreglass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Additionally any close photos of a strada would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Cheers
Luke 😄

Hi Luketheduke,
Both Tricolore's that I have owned and present one had the woven fibre as you describe, the plexi, would be a later panel, possably aftermarket type. I am assuming it has the correct side panels for combined mirrors or kit pods!

I have a set of Tri-colore panels. Two NEW OEM Ducati side panels, one is in color and one is unpainted. Both are the GRP material. I also have the upper, it's also NEW, but it's fiberglass and I don't know if it's OEM Ducati.

Many thanks for the information I assued the fibre ones were the aftermarket, The side panels did have the right fitting for the intergrated mirrors and blinkers ... interesting.
One again many thanks

Hi Luke,
I hope I did not confuse matters, but I ment to imply that the rear panel (seat units) on my bike where of the woven type, not side panels, sorry if I misled you.
