---> Hi Griff,
I cannot stay insensitive to that beauty, coz I know it represents (especially for me, but maybe not for all of you ...) the real starting point of the 851/888 racing bikes story.
Moreover, compare to the last generation of racing bikes that one looks like thinner, with its minimum of developements and its poor reliability as well !!!
From her, we are able to measure the evolution of a racing model.
Even if the story of that bikes generation started in 1988 with Lucchinelli, I'm convinced only a few of us have knowledges about the period 1988 / 1991 regarding them, mainly prototypes on tracks to perform the engine and electronic reliability.
Sometimes, I feel the real history starts in 1991 with high technologic improvements but it's a mistake.
Since the beginning of the forum, numerous of us share infos and details regarding the well known period of racing bikes but any of us about the early time, the beginning of the history.
Isn't she lovely ???
BTW Griff, ... nice red shirt in front of the shop with your red car ... 😁
