I'd like to see some 888's at VIR next week!
Registration is open for the next MAD event at VIR! We usually sell out to club members but with summer vacation we have some spots left if anyone is interested.
If you're local enough to make the trek to Danville Virginia and would like to experience one of the best kept secrets of track days, this is one to hit. We of MAD work with Aaron Stevenson of CornerSpeed (
http://www.cornerspeed.net/) to provide a really great and safe track event.
Full disclosure, I am a long time MAD member and have attended all but the inaugural event years ago. We started out holding one event a year at VIR and this year marks the first we'll have three events and the first weekend, a rarety given track race schedules.
If anyone has any questions about MAD events at VIR feel free to contact me off list. We limit the number of riders in each group to about a third of what other groups holding track days have to keep things less crowded.
I've only been to DOCC, MAD and NESBA track days though but VIR always seems to be a big blast.

First time attendees need to provide school certificates within the last two years (Code, Cornerspeed, Spencer, etc) for Intermediate and current/expired race licenses for Advanced group placement. Beginner group does not need track experience for placement.
Previous attendees will be placed in their past groups and/or moved-up based on input from Cornerspeed.
