Well- I think setting up your bike to satisfy your personel taste- if you know what changes to make to achieve that goal- is what we are talking about.
For the most part, if a bike is not doing something that scares the rider like running wide, falling into a turn when you are on neutral throttle, or feeling like your bike pogo's when you are leaned into a turn, then most riders will ride the bike as it is set up and be happy- on the street or on the track.
We were talking about making changes to a bike that feels like it tips in too fast-- which for the rider is uncomfortable. There was no talk about setting track records or even going faster. Set up does change as you go faster and demand more from your bike and that is a whole different topic- and should be a new thread.
