griff851 A lot of the part numbers are no longer available. So it can turn into a what do I want, what can I find that will do the job. Of you ring up a dealer they look at the catalogue and see if there is an alternative or whether you have to source an aftermarket bit. Some thing have just been issued new part numbers. Only a couple of year models are on the catalogue, but a lot of parts are the same for most years.

Mr.R All very good but... As Griff pointed out before a lot of the parts are "NLA" no longer available. Almost 2 years ago my '92 851 was written off in an accident, out of the 4 pages of spares needed to repair it on my Journo's ringbound note pad only 4 spares (Listed as 851/888 parts) were still available via a Ducati dealer.
