Hy guys have'nt been on the forum for awhile, but putting some of my old competiton photos in my album the other day and came across a shot of a couple of Pom's who came out to New Zealand and did our national championship in 1990/1991 on a couple of very trick 888's.
I had one of those..I wonder what ever happened to....? moments and justwondered if any one could cast a light on where they went.
They were Tim Wild and Mark Forsyth (mark, i understand may have been killed ?) they were pretty hard case I understand Marks bit was slightly warmed over but Tims ceratinly had a great deal of fruit as it was blindingly fast in a straight line. Reputedly ... he had spent a total gold mine on the bike but I cant be sure of the $$$.
So can anyone shed a bit of light on these 2 ?
Ciao Kevin

I can assure you that Mark Forsyth (Fozzie) is very much still alive and Tim Wild is living in the darkest depths of Yorkshire

Forsyth's bike is now owned by a member of the forum(851Corsa), I'm sure he will be along soon to comment.

Hi Kevin,
As the other lads have said Mark 'Fozzie' Forsyth is still very much alive...
Rumours of his death are/have been greatly exaggerated! (That sounds good enough to have been one of Oscars?)
Only last year Mark posted a request for info on the Ducatisti UK forum about his former T8 race bike, which's now owned by 851Corsa.
I saw the bike at the Bristol Italian Auto/Moto Festival a year or two back now, spending quite some time gathering knowledge for my own projects.

Way kool guys great to hear that Mark is still above ground, and yes he did write (maybe editor at one stage ?) for PB. He was a VERY good racer , Tim was not so fast but made up for it in many ways I can tell you. We had a great time with them when they were here, some great racing , good parties and a great number of "Egg Ambushes" out the side of their van , especially in Queenstown.
Keep the info coming
Cheers K
