Haga is awesome and has been my favorite for years. But I think he may have picked the wrong year to return to Ducati as he could be riding Yamaha's new R1 w/ the "Big Bang" motor. I'm glued to every World SBK race and this is surely the year to watch with Aprilia (w/ Max's old team) and BMW joining the fray...along with some new rising talent (or risen) from the UK and US (Hopkins steps in at Valencia).

Damn bastards at WorldSBK built a new website and now I cannot access the races anymore.😡

Haga started his superbike racing with Team Foundation riding a Ducati 888, tuned by Koichi Nagoya, a well know Ducati tuner in Japan. Haga also rode the 916 (955cc) in Japan superbike racing before he was picked up by Yamaha Japan, the rest is history.

Finally found another Picture!

I knew that I got a Picture of Haga on a 888/926 somewhere...😄
It was in the `Motorcycle Racer`- Issue No.2 (August/September 1998).
The interview says he finished 9th in the 1994 All Japan Superbike Championship on the 926 and qualified 8th in the Sugo WSB 1994 round on that Bike.
He finished 12 in the second race on that `agening` Ducati...
The next Year he went to Yamaha but only became 10th overall in the All Japan Superbike Championship.
The rest is History, like sean197611 said...
