Been registered for a while but have only been reading/viewing all your beautiful bikes. This is a short story of how I got hold of this bike.
I went to meet my partner for dinner to a new restaurant. I rang this 851 that was for sale. My partner convinced me to have a look since it was on the way home, she said "you would not like it anyway, its not what you would expect". I told the seller I would only be five minutes in looking at the bike. Two hours later...........yep, you guessed it, It was way better than what I was expecting.
Best dessert I've ever had! I think the shape of 851 is a modern classic.
Another guy was supposed to buy it, but did not wanna pay the extra $200 the guy was asking for.......I couldn't see myself loosing this bike over $200.
