Anyone with a nice 888 Strada for sale?

Does anyone have a decent 888 Strada for sale with all the right/period correct bits on? I have someone looking for one here in the UK.

There doesn’t seem to be many 888 Stradas for sale in UK presently, and I realise your contact is looking for a decent bike, but with the scarcity, maybe an alternative could be of interest?

I don’t know if you have seen the bike in the link below, but if an imported and UK registered bike that obviously needs some work would be considered, it might be worth checking on.

The seller is a dealer that imports bikes, and the one in the link is from Japan.

You will no doubt know more about what the bike is (mis?) described as, but if the documentation, UK V5C and bike markings check out, it may be worth considering an offer? Ideally, verification of the bike provenance through a Ducati dealer or DMH would be advisable, if an option.

If not suitable nothing lost, and another bike viewed!

RTD Hi Tom - I did see that and it just has too many things wrong with it to be a worth pursuing. The fact that they have imported it and done almost nothing to it rings alarm bells, especially as it is being sold “as a project”. No record of service history and the mileage feels very wrong with the condition it is in. Thanks for looking.

KevB thanks Kev. This is for the chap who is rebuilding my 450 Scrambler engine, so he is certainly capable of taking on the re-commissioning work. He is looking to go all modern!! 😁
