Fuel level sensor wiring help

Hi everyone. I need some help with the wiring from the fuel level sensor to the bike. The sensor has 2 black wires and I am not sure which wires they match up from the bike side which has a Grey and Grey Black wire. Also I believe the 2 Violet wires and single Black wire from the bike goes to the sensor Red and White wires respectively? Any help would be appreciated.

There are 2 wires for the fuel pump and two for the fuel level sensor, coming from the bike. I tend to recall that the big wires are for the pump (red for switched 12v and grey for the ground). Which leaves the two smaller remaining wires for your fuel sensor.

Easy to check with a voltmeter, though : you should get +12v DC between the pump wires with contact switched on.

Thank you! I am fairly certain the 2 violet wires and the single black wire from the bike goes the red and white from the fuel level sensor. What I dont know is which of the two fuel level sensor black wires go to the Grey and GreyBlack wires from the bike. Does it matter?
