91 851 bi-posto, want to convert to mono

I have a 92 851, and I am looking at purchasing a very nice 91, also. For those who have done its what is involved in converting to a 91 mono tail unit? Is it also a subframe change that is needed? Thanks for any input that you can offer!

Yes, Subframes are different. Do yourself a favor and get an aluminum one. Much lighter than steel! Also, If you want to trick it out even more, swap out the Showa rear shock/hoop/cantilever for the Ohlins shock and adjustable cantilever/hoop. (Monoposto came with Ohlins.)
