888 851 Solo Seat Mono

Hi, I would like to know how the solo seat of 888 SP is proper fixed on the bike. I see only the two fearing holes to connect it. There are two further holes if I remove the back but there is nothing to fix.

Any idea.

If you have the original seat unit and a mono rear subframe you will see the additional bolt fixings behind the seat pad.

Are there any other supports on the frame for the seat?

With the Biposto frame, you need to add some more bracketing to it. Here are both frames side by side.

An older topic, but with part of the info I need so I’ll continue here.

Finally I’ve found a good looking monoseat for my ’92 Strade, but I want to keep the oem subframe with the biposto seat. Does the Motoholders frame have all the right brackets? It looks quite the same as the picture above.

And, will the 888 subframe fit the ’92? The mono comes from a SP2, that should be ok.
