Sps cams?!

This is a long shot I am coming over from the Ducati forum I am rebuilding my 748 race bike and for the life of me I cannot find any SPS cams I figured I would post here and maybe I would get lucky I have called and emailed around the world to no avail. Thanks!

Don’t want to be a stick in the mud, but you might find ST4 cams will give you what your looking for. Cheaper, easier to find, and not overkill. SPS cams have shit loads of lift for high rpm, but you’ve only got 748 volume. Lift isn’t the only thing that makes better power. Try looking at Brads Diaries before you lash out $1400 +. You might be surprised.
The RS has stink loads of lift, but you pay for it as valve inertia is punishing On the valve gear. Like seriously punishing.

I guess I should clarify, 748SPS cams, they differ from 996 from what many engine builders have told me, i have 431/g cams but those are the ones that have massive lift/short duratiob, the 748 sps cams have a longer duration to hold the smaller valves open longer, they are the "U/A" cams, ive never heard of using st4 cams, also what were 458 cams?

431 inlets with G exhaust cams are a great combo-at least on the track.

458 cams a similar to 431 but with lobes spaced wider for late corsa heads !
St4 cams are std road cams fitted to everything basic ......

Sorry, ST4S cams. Inlet closes at 60° rather than 70° ABDC.You wouldn’t think it makes that much difference, but it does. Very strong and clean all the way to 12500 from 6000. Standard is game on at 7000 but fading by 10500 I found.

Have the S cams got any identifying letters on them ?

In answer to my own question ,
st4s cams are marked 1L inlet and A1 exh , so inlet is different exhaust same as std . ( head marked 1K1 small writing )
st4 has A1R and A1 ands so pretty std there .( head marked 9H large letters )
