I am just getting around to putting the decals on my 1991 Ferracci AMA bike that Doug Polen rode.
I am looking for a good reproduction of this early FBF logo. The later "Football" style logos are still being sold by Ferracci -but not the round Meatball version.
The only reproduction in the states I have found is the one in the photo where I am showing the reproduction on top and an original FBF decal below. The freeform lettering is not too far off- but the "Corse USA" is way too small and the black box that it is in is all way too narrow.
I have asked the company if they could digitally alter it to make it closer to the original-but I have found that often the company will not budge. Perhaps being afraid of making it too close opens them up to legal issues.
I know many street riders in Europe seemed to like to put the FBF logo on their street bikes so I thought it would be worth a shot and see if anyone actually knows of a company that makes this early FBF reproduction- and may actually show it on their website.
Well- it looks like the forum will not let me upload files from my computer-- not sure why but I cannot show you the USA repro- or an original to judge anyone else's reproduction.
