Interesting someone should ask. I took my supposedly original bar ends off to replicate in CAD and have the following drawings done. As they are small, I am looking to get a quote from a local injection mounding company to get the tool made and run a batch of them up.
As Steve mentions, 3D printing won't provide the necessary surface finish, and they look like they need to be done in Polypropylene, or Black Nylon.
First question, do these look right (they have an Allen bolt and captured nut in the insert)?
See the PDFs attached. If these tick the 851 and 888 family boxes, I will see what it will take to get 50 to 100 sets done, to keep the costs low.
