Bosch ignition pick ups

Pantah 650 engine (1985 Elefant) with Bosch ignition. The P08 from electret are no good. (Kokusan). Anyone has a solution? Can't find direct replacement.

Odd, kokusan pick ups are generally not bad. Can you define 'no good a bit more.

They’re very careful NOT to list Elefant 650. They do list most others. Don’t know if it’s a mounting plate/bracket issue, suitability or they simply missed the little Elefant as the bike is not that common.

Which makes me wonder…. Why?

A German supplier of P08 answered me that those are NOT suitable for Bosh systems. Don’t know whether he read the info from electrex like I did or knows they’re “no good” as a matter of fact.

Or maybe I’m just reading “too much” into it. Wouldn’t be the first time…..

Ok, there's that word Electrex world. I've had a couple of bikes return with their compounds fail after relatively short mileage. But also a couple still rolling.
