Well, about to reboot sp4, and then store for winter, I am lucky enough to have plenty to ride through the year, but now I am retired my wish would be to find my all time ride, keeping specials for just that.
I have always had an infinity with sports tourers, vfr750/800, blackbirds,Gts1000,Fj's and r100rs one of my all time favourite. Even had Gs1150a & Multistrada 1200 latter which was brilliant other than the frustrating bluetooth. Now I never use the Bluetooth option on any bike since 2015
Currently have multiple sports tourers k1300s, R1100rs, St4s, K1 all being used 1 or 2 months each, current tax systems helps this rotation. All these bikes have removable panniers making them very practical.
My question is now that I am thinking of reducing numbers, .what if any one bike could be the most enjoyable and practical bike one could own. It must be spirited, practical rewarding and visually appealing, reason is all current bikes i have now offer different personalities. Going from my current bikes mentioned and any insight you might have, could you identify any particular bike that could hit the spot?
Today had a ride out to the Mull of Galloway on the wettest day of the year, choice of ride r100rs, just needs more umph but a great ride never the less.
Cheers

If you like Dukes, how about a Supersport with optional touring pack (panniers, heated grips & taller screen).
I test rode a Multistrada & Supersport back to back recently. Supersport won hands down, handled great, comfy enough to do 500 miles a day, fast enough for the roads and easy on the eyes
Took delivery last month of an Ohlins shod model and accommodation already booked for Le Mans, Mugello & Redbull Ring next year to watch MoTo.
Whilst the Multi is a great mile muncher I wanted a bike that can do the miles in reasonable comfort yet feel like a proper sports bike on fun twisty roads. And the less electronic gizmos to go wrong the better.
Likewise I was thinking about reducing the number of bikes I have following this purchase, stupid idea😂😂

Probably a Monster, I don't care for bluetooth etc so either a 900, or a S4RS. I proxy purchased and rode a 600 for a friend for a few weeks and it was great as a runaround, looked cool, sounded good, was really easy to weave through traffic and quite comfy.

best all rounder I have ever had was a KTM SMT 990, getting on now but hold their value well as they are fantastic.. rumours of a new model SMT next year
