Hi all,

I've got an 851 bike in at the moment with electrical gremlins, I'm on the hunt for eprom 851 s4 :08b which I believe to be a standard chip.

also off subject slightly, does anyone have the technical drawings with reference to ignition firing angles, I understand that it moves due to tps position etc, but I would like to know as then I can check this against strobe.

can you check that eprom reference? The standard 851 should be 035

I don't have a diagram, but the firing angles will be 270 degrees apart from each other. Do you mean that you want to know about the ignition curve/map?

035 is the std 1992 eprom. 008b is the open muffler and airbox eprom for 89 - 91, with the b denoting the starter clutch saving software change. 009b is the std eprom.

it should have 6 degrees of advance when idling.
