Neil
Hello all,
I'm in need of new rear wheel bearings for my '91 Strada. Ducati p/n is 751633265 (ID is to suit a 17 mm axle and bearing OD is approx. 47 mm). When I ordered bearings from Ducati they told me the part number had been superseded and proceeded to send me an incorrect part. Would anyone be able to furnish a correct number for the appropriate SKF/Timken etc. bearing?
Thanks, Neil

Bearings on sprocket side... 6005-2RS/C3.. you need 2... size is 25x47x12
Bearing on brake side....... 62203-2RS... x 1.... size is 17x40x16

Thanks, but I'm slightly confused...
Thanks for responding, but I'm unsure if what you suggest will work.
The bearing I need requires a 12 mm width, an ID suitable for a 17 mm axle diameter, and an OD of 47 mm. Judging from the dimensions you provided, I don't think either will work. Am I missing something?
Again, appreciate your time.
Regards, Neil

The bearings in the sprocket carrier/cush drive have a bush and spacer that takes the Id down to 17mm.

Ahh, now I get it.
Thank you for the explanation. Makes sense to me now.

if you know the dimensions you just google them - bearing 17 x 47 x 12. you'll get LR203.
if the od is 47mm it's not a std wheel. sounds like a later monster or st 25mm axle wheel.

The Plot Thickens
Thanks for the note. I just assumed it was the standard wheel. Beware assumptions...

or the bearing seats flogged out and it was machined oversize.
