Maintaining the forum

Is there anything we can do collectively to maintain the forum 24/7/365 ?
If it's money so be it ? I don't think many would not subscribe.

I don't think the problem this time was money, it seemed to be an IT issue. I'm not sure if the owner/s are active enough to see issues happen quickly.

Not sure about the runnings of the forum. Owners or primary persons.

But if everyone chipped in on an annual basis and put their hands in their pockets and paid up, the process would be seamless.

We all benefit at some point, and there is fuck all else available that interests me outside of 888 Racing.

So chaps hands in pockets !!!!!

FWIW, JImmy is the owner of this Forum. I being administrator emailed him pronto,,,not realizing that he rarely checks his email. I will text from now on.

It was an IT problem, not a money problem. I know that everyone has been sending money via PayPal but it has been rejected. I have notified Jimmy about the problem. If he wants to fix that problem he will !!

I (and probably others) would be willing to take on IT/ownership/administrative responsibility to ensure that the forum stays online and secure.

It's great that individuals have such a passion, bearing in mind it is a quarter of a century since the last of the 888/926 road and race bikes came out of the factory. I guess we should smile as the bike Ducati replaced it with was just as prolific .

Availability of this website matches the nature of our bikes perfect - they work eventually

Providing we don't loose the irreplaceable' content that's been accumulated over many years a few days outage now and again is no big deal

Marvin must have forgotten the deal we made when we started this. He has worked hard on the forum and owns 50 percent.
