cost duty Brexit

I bought a lot of things in England over the years, I'm Italian, but how do duty costs work now with brexit?
do they depend on the type of goods?

Very usefull.. Personally i buy less in UK after Brexit, as both door to door deliver time and cost has gone up since.. 😕

Now that i have to pay taxes ans import most off the time it is not worth it anymore.

yes that's right, unfortunately I also have to stop buying them, it's a shame because you can always find excellent spare parts or interesting items.🙁

out of curiosity I asked a couple of sellers on ebay, large and reliable (probably also depends on the purchase value) but they offered me a refund after the purchase equivalent to the customs fees .... to try not to overburden the brexit to buyers.

I wish the same would happen for me the other way around.
Most of my kit comes from the EU and the costs have gone up for me also and...
I along with 48% of the UK population voted to stay in the EEC.

unfortunately it is a big problem both for those who buy and for those who sell ... but above all for us little enthusiasts that some spare parts will cost 20/30% more and we will be forced to buy elsewhere ...

Interestingly I have recently bought from both France and Italy and not paid anything extra. Both the postage costs were reasonable too.
