Hi folk,
May I start with best wishes for Xmas & coming new year.

For those more technical than I, my every day runner st4s now has a really noisy worn clutch h basket.
My question is the clutch in my spare 851 motor is good, is it suitable for st4 motor?

And how easy is it to swop out basket, I have a clutch holding tool but as yet not used it

Chortle! Easy job if you have a good reverse impact driver. a good clutch locking tool and arms like Popeye's wanking arm - the torque on the clutch nut is massive (varies depending on model & year) and is a real twat to loosen off

the original st4s basket is probably aluminium, and the 851 basket will be steel. but apart from that it's all the same fitment.
