I would agree, they look identical to a pair of Micron cans I just acquired, and the mounting bracket is also identical. I have to say, the overall build quality of the set I have is excellent. I think what you're referring to as a poor weave in the carbon fiber is actually a reflection and/or lighting in the picture. The weave on mine is fine.
