Hello, the sleeve is quite worn and the pedal wobbly. Is there a special way to remove the worn sleeve or is it just about pushing it out with some gentle hammering? And then where can I buy a replacement, or do I need to have one made?
Thanks for your help

they do have a part #, but they've been nla for a while. the later smaller pivot ones have a bronze bush you can still buy. they should just push out.
should be a simple make for someone with a lathe. probably better off getting a plastic place to knock out 20 and sell them off.

You might want to get them made out of acetal/Delrin/POM.
It's a lot tougher than Teflon. Pushing out will be more effective than hammering. Same goes of fitting.

Bronze bushing
Final solution I found porous bronze bushings on the net 14 mils inside diameter, just right, and 20 mils outside length 22 mils. Reduced to 18 mils outside for 20 mils long, tight fit once the worn teflon bushing is removed. Just needed a few taps with a piece of wood to do that. Once the teflon bushing was gone there's a delrin or acetate bushing left inside the pedal, black in colour, inside diameter 18. Don't know if it's original. Anyway I pushed in the bronze bushing, tight fit, and put the pedal back in place. Everything's OK now. The generic bronze bushings 22X20X14 mils were about 2.5 a piece. Easy job on the lathe to get them to the right dimensions.
