Tricolore or Red and White?

Carbon Corse Bodywork arrived yesterday and could not resist dressing her up😉
I must admit she looks good in Red but I will need to repaint as the other side has suffered track rash.
Hmmmm what to do😳

I dont think these machines were intended to have lights were they, looks the dogs with no light cutouts

I will also need a set of decals if anybody has a set?

Guy - as much as I like the Tricolore paint scheme, I think it just wouldn't look right unless red & white. 😏

Spike - do you have any scanned images of 851/888 decals? And, no, I'm not going to attempt to make my own, but I'm toying with the idea of doing a bit of T-shirt design. 😯

2 Corse rep winter projects!

Think it has to be the corse colour scheme for me Guy - agree that the bikes look superb with the race stlye fairing - thats what I'm doing with mine. My fairing also arrived yesterday but only g/f and unpainted🙁

That looks like a later 888 style seat unit? Think they look better than the earlier ones, my first job is to fit the seat unit on the new alloy subframe. Are you moving all the electrics up front?

Are you going for a daytime mot or the light pods? I have decided to go down the daytime mot as the bike has never been riden at night!

I got decals from this seller - dbcmankred, good quality and only £7.50 per set (got both a 851 and 888 set), also makes custom ones - so may well use him to get the Fogarty decals I need.

What is under all that lovely carbon?

I am still playing with seats and subframes, I actually like the earlier seat shape and its more in line with my 91/2 Corse spec.
Having one of each seems fine!

I have recently picked up a job lot of new spares inc quite a few decals especially "888superbike" for the sides of the fairing - let me know what you need and I'll go through the box to see if I've got it.

Hi Guy, in my opinion is the read and wite all the way and the ligths...only good knows what I have thought and looked to the front faring (Will i put a big hole or not?) I cant find a ligth's support as Phil911 and in Portugal there is no nigth mot 🙁 you can inagine the result (A big hole at the front as you can see in the waths in your garage section)

+1 on this statement, I've also used Imageworks kit and it's top notch IMO.
I'm also a cheapskate who's also lucky enough to work with a chap who has a sideline business making stickers...
He can produce exact top quality copies of anything I want If I've got a good pattern. 😎
Of course it would be wrong to buy kit from someone like Imageworks and get him to copy them, 😉 but then where did they get the original SP5 decals from?
You can see the stuff Barry my workmate has made for me in the gallery section on my 851/916, the paint job on my single seat was also done in the Paint shop at my work place.

just lookin & i can see some of you guys r into the no headlight thing. i ran mine like this for 2 years till i got caught out one late summers night so i tried modifying 999. Works fine on low beam & gets by on high if you know what i mean 😁

Lovely work in deed here in Portugal can´t run on a non ligth thing (too bad) so Im adapting a Citroen C4 halogen one
