Mounting for remote reservoir to rear shock on 851 SP3...

I had occasion to remove the seat unit from my SP3 today, and I noticed that the remote reservoir for therear shock in attached to the sub-frame via two Ducati "Silentblocks", one of which is broken (Ducati part number 700 1 004 1A). I suspect that these have been modified because one thread (the one going to the mounting bracket) has obviously beeb shortened. According to the Ducati parts manual, the bracket is attached to the sub-frame by a couple of M6 bolts and some washers - this is also what is shown on theStein-Dinse web site.

Is it necessary, or indeed advisable, to use the Silentblocks, or would bolts and washers be OK (I suspect they might lastlonger!)?

I replaced these on my 888 a few years ago for similar reasons, I preferred to keep the rubber mounting. Do a search for "waisted rubber vibration mount" - they are available from many sources.
