When I sold my Kit the new owner wanted her back in 100% original trim for mothballing and the occasional ride.
So all the hard work and parts to get the twitchy beast under control are packed up in my loft and are available as a set, or individually if preferred
Brief summary:
Stradas and Kits both suffered from poor handling, tendency to sit up under braking and were very twitchy in low speed corners + the magnesium Marvics are long past their sell by date.
Mine was upgraded with
1989 M1R forks with modern internal damping and springs with the addition of preload and compression damping at the top of each leg.
Ohlins DU8070 replacing the early rubbish Marzocchi at the rear
Marchenisi 3 spoke gold alloy wheels new in 2006 - See from the picture these look very similar to the Marvic 17" Mags
The 1989 forks fitted to convert to 320mm disks at the front and 245mm disk at the back. The Brembos fitted to the original Marvics will not fit later Ducati wheels. Note in the picture are Spiegler discs the wheels now have shiny gold Brembo's
Later Ducati speedo drive to suit
The original Brembo brakes fit directly with no adjustment, included is a new 888 rear calliper mount to suit the later disk diameter and offset
Smaller front guard can go if you dislike the "duckbill"
And finally an original Kit racing Zaccaria steering damper + clamp for M1R fork leg 41.7mm
There might be more
PM me if interested
Thanks
