Is there someone on the forum that is able to help me out in my search for info about 888 racings in the Belgian Superbike series from the year ‘92?

Photo’s, riders, teams, info,...

You really have something against Stéphane, isn't it 😁?
There were a lot of Belgium pilots on the Ducati :-p.

The most known is Stéphane Mertens indeed, the only bike he destroyed' was restored by his mechanic at the time and the bike has been used for Classic demo events and for display. His bike nr two is in a private collection in Belgium.

To be honest, there were a lot of 888 racings in Belgium. Hubin, Bragard, both brothers Snickers had one, Orban, Schildermans, Wuyts,.. i'm sure I forgot a few more.

Yes indeed. I'm searching the history of one specific bike. Year of build 92.. has been delivered new to Ducati Belgium

How can we offer more information if we don't know which specific bike you want info from?

Now that's the problem.

The two bikes of Hubin are known, but does anyone knows what happened with the bikes of Bragard? I assume to think they were sold somewhere to race the year after, but I don't know that for sure.

As told before, all info about any history of that team and team members are more than welcome. I've dropped the question in Bologna as well and expect to have news soon.

Just kidding.. concerning Stephane.. but i do recall a few unfortunate corners by Sir Mertens and his mechanic must have been Busy , most known one from Australia in 93 ...

One less known one is from Anderstorp Sweden in 91.. where he make a scene ... at the end of a loooooong streight ... i know that corner personaly .. i have been testing that gravel myself .. yet not as dramatic ... enjoy if the link Works... wait for it !

Brilliant video..................however even though there are pieces of bike everywhere you could just feel the hope that maybe he could get on it and still win ?????.
