RWG Nice Bike, sold mine to chap in Austrailia 5 years back now. Thinking of swopping out a k1300s for a classic Triumph or maybe a 1980 Honda Question do you have a special pair of jeans when ridding Triton, I did to soap up the Oil around my shin๐
Birdie It's really good as far as oil leaks go, the only one I have is from the Norton AMC gearbox, the kick start shaft oil seal, I have a quad seal ready to go in and hopefully cure it. Steve
Mr.R Hi Steve, How far ahead do you have to look to plan your braking, do you use a calendar or a almanac with that single leading shoe front brake? I've always loved Tritons but feel that (on most) some more attention is needed on the brakes. If they're fitted with a tuned Bonnie motor they're almost/probably capable of close to 120mph, if used as they were originally intended by the "Ton up" boys. Steve R
RWG Steve, I had a morgo 750 barrels hc pistons with SRM heads. Then lovely twin Brake set up. The difference was Chalk & cheese.๐
Birdie Yes Steve the braking has to be planed !!! I tend to ride this one quite sedately, of three bikes I have it's the only one I need to use the rear brake as well as the front, I'm always on the look out for a the twin leading shoe front but they are fetching silly money. Steve
