dudlington Here are the engine specifications : John Hackett rebuilt the engine 4000 miles ago using brand new strengthened sandcast crankcases. All the brearings are new,and the engine is blueprinted. It runs 955 barrels and pistons ported and flowed. Valves are 37mm and 31mm diameter. The long throw crankshaft was lightened and balanced. It runs vernier/adjustable pulleys. It runs a P8 and a new carbon clutch. no expense was spared and I have receipts for over 11K sterling for the engine rebuild. The engine was set up for torque and makes 82 ft/lbs and 140+ HP. I want 5K for the engine or very close to that. No silly offers please. if I get a buyer for this I will break the bike as nobody seems to want the whole bike as a project............shame but the bike to me is surplus to requirements, I have 3 other SP4,s and just can,t seem to get to this project. It moves further and further to the back of the things to do.
