Time I thought to do an oil change prior to trying to get my project 888 started - so wanted to also check the oil screen I removed the 21mm bolt but realised that the screen itself had not come with the bolt. It seems to be fully floating in the crankcase and so far I've not been able to pull it out. any suggestions as how to get the screen out as I assume it isn't supposed to come off the bolt?

Use some fine nose pliers and pull/pick what's left of it out, be brutal as it's not going to go in again.
If you're stuck for a replacement?

Thanks dug it out without any issues. Isn't damaged either which is a bonus, guess it came off when I replaced the cover bolt and didn't seat the washer properly. Waiting for a new washer now but the filter is out and pushed back onto the bolt.
